Today there are two more IRS project groups.
The participants of the project "Anthropogenic Transformation of Issyk-Kul landscape", comparing maps, aerial photography data and satellite images, studied the changes in the appearance of the lake coast over the past fifty years and the role of man in these changes.
In the "Chemistry in Silico: Design and Prediction of Properties of New Compounds" project, the participants were creating models of complex chemical compounds that could potentially become the basis for new drugs for treating depression.
