Our International Research School is taking place this year as part of a bigger event - the 2nd International Intellectual Games (YISG-2022), the grand opening of which also took place yesterday - July 1 at the House of Friendship of Peoples in Yakutsk.
The head of Yakutia, Asein Sergeevich Nikolaev, addressed the participants of YISG-2022 and wished them "extraordinary research and bright discoveries for the benefit of all mankind." The cosmonauts from the ISS also greeted the guys.
Yakut folk dances, songs, and, of course, "khomus" immersed the participants in the magical and incredibly beautiful atmosphere of Yakut culture and left no one indifferent. "Do science and make friends" is YISG's motto, which sounded in every performance.
