This morning we all gathered in front of the main building of the Sakha Junior Academy of Sciences to raise the flag of the 16th International Research School.
There were welcoming speeches by School organizers and one surprise speech by two young members of the Science Academy, who once took part in one of the previous Schools as participants and now have joined us as members of our team. All the speeches were very warm and encouraging.
Finally, we invited one person from each delegation to raise the IRSchool flag, sang the School anthem, and the 16th IRSchool officially opened!
