This is the day we have been waiting for almost two years! This is the day the 13th International Research School has begun!
We congratulate everyone… and ourselves, of course!

It's the first time, the IRS opening ceremony has gone online. But the organizers have managed to preserve the solemn atmosphere of the moment, and so the ceremony retains all its original elements – the anthem, flag raising, presentation of the delegations, greetings in their native languages, and opening speeches - Alexey Obukhov (scientific director), Ksenia Salnikova (general director), and Alexander Leontovich (founder of the IRS and President of MILSET Vostok) addressed the participants and wished them all the best.

At the communicative game that followed the ceremony, the participants shared their expectations from the School. They got to know each other better: discussed their hobbies, talked about their favorite scientists from their native country, and looked at the view from each other's windows.

Everyone was a bit nervous in the beginning, but now we are a real team and we are ready to work at International Research School 2021!
